Yulex Corporation has an exclusive license from the USDA to exploit products from a native shrub that grows in the Southwestern United States-the guayule plant. Guayule has long been known to produce latex rubber–its potential for the production of allergy-free latex for use in the medical industry is Yulex’s primary focus. The logo was designed by creating a circular form using the letter Y to represent the organic origins of the product. The process of exploitation of the plant for a number of uses is symbolized by separating a portion of one Y and rendering it in a second color.
